On the morning of 17th June, Anqing West Lake Oasis Kindergarten implemented campaigns with regard to linkup between kindergarten and elementary school in Anqing Foreign Language School.
First of all, accompanied by their teachers& parents, nearly 120 kids from top classes of the kindergarten visited classrooms& dedicated activity rooms of our school’s Primary Department. Later on, they viewed and emulated the flag-raising ceremony, morning setting-up exercises as well as physical education classes of our elementary students. Additionally, children from West Lake Oasis Kindergarten entered Grade One classrooms to feasibly feel our pupils’ classroom learning& life with the interpretation of teachers from Grade One.
Second of all, parents of the kindergarten kids paid a visit to externs’ dormitories designated for noon break, which attracted the interest of most of the parents. They actively consulted the accompanying teachers in terms of their most concerned issues such as externs, school bus pick-up service, repast in addition to midday rest.
Third of all, with the company of teachers& parents, kids also arrived at ‘Outward Base for Teenagers’ in Anqing Foreign Language School to experience outdoor training.
Overall, this meaningful event regarding linkup between kindergarten and elementary school not only facilitated amicable exchange between the West Lake Oasis Kindergarten and our Elementary Division, but also laid the foundation for children to adapt themselves to primary school life with a scientific& effective transition.
